Sitting

It's tiring to sit here and think of what might have been. Yet sometimes, we all have to do the unpleasant and mundane. The danger lies in the perceptions of others, who might see it variously as dangerous, romantic, idealistic, subversive, useless, impractical, or a challenge to the forces of law and order.

My mind died long ago. It is like the aftermath of Ragnarok. All the heroes are dead or deep beneath the earth, and the next generation is made of alternatives who will live in hope without knowing heroism.
